Curation & Procurement
1. INITIAL CONSULTATION
Client meeting to explore needs, priorities and budget parameters. The scope and expectations of the project are discussed. A Design Services Estimate is provided. Personal style is explored and material, color and finish preferences are discussed. Browse inspiration images to consider concept.
2. SPACE ASSESSMENT & DISCOVERY
Visit home to assess the existing space, taking note of architectural features, room dimensions, natural light, and the layout. Inventory any existing furnishings, decor, and personal items that may be reused/purposed. The condition and compatibility of these items is evaluated in relation to the desired look. Any modifications to the space are considered.
We have a boutique-inspired Curation & Procurement approach which helps ensure that the furnishings you’re drawn to are suitable to your lifestyle, within your budget, and will be available when we’ll want them. This process combines space planning and coordination, with the budgeting and sourcing of your project.
3. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Furnishing, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) needs are discussed in conjunction with household lifestyle and habits. Concept is developed by exploring colour, materials and finishes. Concept boards are created and shared to communicate style and mood.
4. BUDGETING
Prepare a detailed budget, including estimated costs for FF&E, and any spacial modifications required.. Price ranges are explored to determine spending priorities.
5. SOURCING & SHOPPING
Develop a procurement plan, outlining suppliers, online retailers, or custom artisans. Specify the lead times for each item. Finalize FF&E, and make purchases (either independently or accompanied by client).

Furnishings are the final elements needed to create a complete and cohesive design project. We provide a furniture plan along with furniture, artwork, accessories & drapery selections. Once approved we place orders, manage deliveries and will complete a final site set-up.
6. IMPLEMENTATION
Coordinate deliveries, installations, and any necessary renovations, modifications or repairs as per the design plan.
7. STYLING
Place and arrange area rugs and furnishings to achieve desired look and feel. Add decorative elements such as artwork, lighting and accessories, to enhance and personalize the style of the space.
8. COMPLETION
Conduct a walk-through of the completed space(s) with the client, ensuring satisfaction. Make any necessary adjustments or address any concerns. Provide documentation, including warranties and care instructions for items, and issue final invoice.
